The Somal Group of
Companies is completely family owned under the chairmanship
of Tara Singh Somal esq., and is made up of 7 companies.
The two other directors of the Somal Group are: Mr. G.S. Somal - B.Sc. Engineering, MBA, Columbia University (USA), and Mr. U.I.S. Somal Chief Technology Officer and CEO MBA(Fin,Mktg) Rutgers University, USA, Masters in Commerce, HP Master Accredited Systems Engineer SAN Architect, HP MASE (SQL Server), CISSP, CGEIT, CRISC, CISM, MCDBA, MCSE, CCNA. The first business established was Somal Brickworks, a brick manufacturing company, in 1904. The brick business is still very much a part of the Somal Group to this day.
